Ylva Skarps vinterhem

I first heard about Ylva Skarp when I lived in Leksand last year. She's a talented calligrapher and designer based in Hjortnäs outside of Leksand and has her shop and workplace at home. You can read and see more about her here and here. Ylva's winter home was featured in the latest issue of Lantliv, and  I thought I'd share the pictures with you. Don't you just love the down to earth colors, the wodden and fer details and not to mention the stunning windows ?
Some day day I shall also live in and old school. cross my fingers.

Ylva's top tips for a nice pre-christmas:
1. Use what ever nature can offer. Mini christmas trees, cones, branches etc. are nice christmas decorations.
2. Make groupes out of your decorations instead pf spreading them out. That gives a calmer impression. 
3. Candles, candles, candles!

I figure it might be today's cold and dark weather that inspired me this morning. Dark and Rustic pictures with a lot of soul. Also looking forward to our rehearsal with The Flowershop today, and mum's Paris visit tonight.

Linnéa au parc Monceau

This week-end I felt really inspired for the first time in a while (thank god) and so I asked my lovely friend Linnéa if she wanted to do a photo shoot together with me in Parc Monceau. The colors are spectacular in Paris at the moment, and the parks are still filled with people enjoying the last days of autumn. I did have trouble not catching other people than Linnéa in my pictures - I got one where a guy turns around and looks at her, kind of cute...

Concerning the editing I worked with a golden paper filter I'd found on google, that's what make them a bit old looking. Just the way I like it. haha

Hopeless Romanic

Sources: first picture & second picture

I am clearly a hopeless romantic, no doubt about that! The amazing photo work of Anna Malmberg (second picture) makes me want to put on my most beautiful dress, put flowers in my hair and go for a long, parisian late evening walk with my Francois.

Here comes a list of the five most romantic things I've done in Paris so far:

- Dancing a slow dance in the spring rain, listening to "My one and only love" by Chet Baker
- Watching fireworks, and the outstanding view of Paris from a rooftop in Montmartre
- Performing at the launch of Her Royal Majesty art magazine, together with F on the piano at the beautiful bar "Le Carmen"
- Having all my friends over to me and Hanna's for Glögg and Pepparkakor (spiced wine and ginger bread) after the first concert with The Flowershop. And it was snowing.
- Eating french petits déjeuners (croissants, chocolatines, fresh fruit from the market, cappuccino from Kooka bura) on my balcony in the 9th among pots of spring flowers and cushions.

I hope the list shall grow longer,
until then I'm going to have a large cup of green tea and some dark chocolate and watch a movie.
