Great coffee and peanut butter pralines

Here follow three collages from one of my last days in Paris together with Harriet. We met up for  coffee and amazing peanut butter pralines at the cosy café Merce and the Muse close to Republique.
I came a bit early so I sat down to work on my earrings that I'm making out of old watches that I've found at a flee market in Geneva.

The winter has come to Leksand, and i'm still dreaming about paris.

Storie and Matthew Rose

L’histoire.

At the moment I am in Paris doing an internship at the art and literature magazine
Her Royal Majesty. Last week we were collecting the art work for the launch of the 11th edition of the magazine and Harriet took me to this lovely store named - Storie where the amazing work of the artist Matthew Rose work was exhibited.
Storie is a shop that sells creative and beautiful things made by people with a story to tell. Creativity and inspiration was already in the air when I got in to the store, so before leaving I had taken photos not only of Matthew Rose's artwork but of the whole boutique. From Paris with AMOUR

Furutorp Interiör & Design

I lördags firade jag min tjugotredje födelsedag. Det var en sådan solig, kall oktoberdag. Jag vaknade av kylan inne i stugan och tände en härlig brasa för att sedan baka mig födelsedagsscones. Det var första gången men jag ska nog göra det till en tradition - så trevligt. 

   

Just den här helgen har det varit marknad i Rättvik så jag och mina vänner från skolan åkte dit för att upptäcka att det inte var så där väldigt "Dalacharmigt" som man kunde ha trott. Men vädret var ju som sagt härligt så vi gick runt i solen och njöt ändå. Vi stötte därimot på den här supertrevliga inredningsbutiken - Furutorps Interiör och Design, och eftersom jag hade med mig kameran fick jag lov att fota lite till bloggen. 

    Lantlig, Frankrikeinspirerad Interiör, härligt & färgglatt porslin, underbara tyger och mycket mera. En butik välvärd ett besök!

Oktober

Jag hyrde mig ett landtligt hus
på stenig ås, i luft och ljus.
För första gången på många år
förnam jag vinter, höst och vår.
I ekens hål en uggla höll
sin nattvakt, medan rägnet föll,
och slöt med sina gälla skrik
min sömn i sagomörk mystik.
När drivan blänkte hvit och hård,
kom skogens mesflock till min gård,
och bland de gröna och de grå
blåmesen, trolsk som Fågel blå.
Du vinter då mitt hjärta skalv
mot himlens vindar som en alv.
som i förnyad barndomstro,
yrvädersgamman, månskensro,
tills Chloris väckte med sin drill
allt spädt och skärt i ung april!

Nu är det höst igen. Vid stugans knut
ha våra sista vallmor blommat ut.
Ej skall jag mer beså en trädgårdslist,
ej länka rankan kring en förstukvist.
Ur grinden rullar ut en ful kaross,
längs vägen träden stå som dystra bloss -
ett upplöst hem, som far i blåst och rägn
till hårda, obekanta murars hägn.
Men kring den arma lilla plätt av jord
där barn och fåglar kvittrat, sång fått ord,
skall min oktoberlängtan ruva mörk,
som tjädern ruvar i en saffransbjörk.

Beautiful Ideas For A Wedding

 These lovely pictures come from Green Wedding Shoes and The sweetest Occation. 

Wedding inspiration? Well yes, my dear friends Julia and Magnus just got engaged (Congratulations to you both!)  so I have to admit that I'm feeling quite wedding inspired at the moment.
   Mint green, lilac purple, soft pink and spring green. I can't get enough of these colors! It is also such a beautiful idea to have the ceremony out doors with a large tree as a witness.

Do you remember my concert bouquets that I did for The Flowershop's concert occasions? The second picture down below gave me ideas for futur ones. Plastic flowers aren't that bad, are they?

I also want to highlight the table decorations in this serie of photos! Books and earth globes, fresh flowers and vintage candlesticks. Stunning!
